Your business card can be so much more than it is right now. Almost every business card I’ve even seen has been about promoting yourself and your business and I think that’s a missed opportunity.
What if you could give value to your prospects on your cards as well? And not just on your website?
It’s all about giving value first, before asking for the sale these days. People want to get to know you first. You need to build trust. And one of the best ways to do that, is by providing value. You offer them a taste of your abilities, so they can figure out if you’re the right person for the job for them.
More and more entrepreneurs (and/or businesses) make their websites all about giving value, but that’s where it ends. I propose to:
“Make your whole visual identity about them, not about you.”
With your business card you have a valuable opportunity to start giving value right after you meet a new potential client.

I loved what 2016 was about — branding-wise —and I feel that the 3 trends for 2016 are staying just as relevant for the upcoming year, 2017.
Your brand is all about the people it serves.
And that will stay the same in 2017.
Brands are shifting (or have shifted) their focus to the consumer and the client. They’ve become client-centred. A trend that’s been going on for a while now and is still growing in popularity.
When your potential clients are looking for a product or service they tend to value authentic brands more these days — brands that show who they are, what they care about and focus on how they can serve their client in the best possible way.
